GAME TIMES GUIDE ONLY

The new season fixtures will be released 2 weeks before the season starts. Please note: times vary depending on the number of teams entering each age division. In each age group Division C play first times concluding with Division A.

As a GUIDE ONLY times are as follows:

Under 8's

This age group play their games at 8am, 8.45am, 9.30am. Absolute beginners 2pm, 2.45pm & 3pm

9's

This age group play their games at 8am, 8.45am, 9.30am & 10.15am

10's

This age group play their games at 10.15am, 11am & 11.45am

11's,

These age groups play their games at 11.45am & 12.30pm

12's,

These age groups play their games at 12.30pm, 1.15pm & 2pm

NEWBIES 8 & under

Absolute beginners 2pm, 2.45pm & 3pm

SATURDAY TEENS

These age groups play their games at 2pm, 2.45pm & 3.30pm

TUESDAY TEENS

These age groups play their games between 4pm, 4.45pm 5.30pm & 6.15pm

Please DON'T GET YOUR EARS PIERCED in the weeks before Summer Comp, save it for the December holidays!

All nails and jewellery will be checked prior to your game. Players will not be able to take the court with any jewellery, even if it is taped. This is for the safety of everyone and we cannot make any exceptions.

Parents DO enjoy watching and positively supporting your children and the teams playing.

Waverley Park Top and Lower Netball Courts

Bondi NSW 2026

Parking is challenging on game days. There is unlimited parking on Saturdays on all streets around the venue – but please allow time to find and make your way to the courts from where you park.

Team Fees

Regular Fees $1875

Best working numbers for the team is 10 players over the Summer Season.

Playing Uniforms

A team must wear the same uniform.

If your team is part of a school or club, you are free to wear that uniform.

If you would like us to provide your team with dresses please let us know.

Each team must supply their own ball & bibs for each game. Caps/Visors are allowed in the Summer Comp.

Borrowing Players

Teams who are short of players can borrow from any other teams as follows:

Teams from their own age, but a LOWER division
Teams from a YOUNGER age, regardless of division and club!

Considerations:

There are no restrictions on the number of games a player can play on Game Day
The team must have 5 of their own registered players on court at any given time

Rolling Subs

Teams can roll in sub players at anytime throughout the game after a goal. No need to wait for the end of a quarter.

Umpiring

LOVE NETBALL BONDI has a pool of umpires for the season and will supply umpires for every game.
This service is included in the registration for teams for the season.

LOVE NETBALL BONDI fully support development of beginner umpires. Workshops will be run through school holidays.

Coaches & Team Managers

Each team in the competition is required to have a Team Manager.

Whist highly recommended, it is not required that teams have a coach.

Extreme Weather Policy

The following policy will be adhered to in order to ensure the safety of our players.

Wet Weather:

Games will be played in the rain, except where there is Thunder & Lightening, or a torrential downpour.

Extreme Heat:

We will be following the guidelines of Sports Medicine Australia:

Games will be cancelled if the temperature reaches 35 degrees or more with relative humidity of 30% or more.

We will determine the temperature and humidity via the OzWeather App, for the Sydney Observatory Hill reading.

Advice of Cancellation

We will post a notification to the Love Bondi Netball Facebook Page if and immediately when games are cancelled. PLEASE DO NOT RING US as we will likely be using our phone to update the message on the website - and can't do that if we are answering calls.

Facebook is the most effective way of distributing communications quickly and to the most people. It is the ONLY medium that we will be using to distribute these notices. Please LIKE the Love Bondi Netball Facebook page and encourage your teams to do the same.
